IT & Cyber Security Manager

The ICT Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s entire IT and Telecommunications landscape. This role ensures that technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals for a leading water utility company. You will lead a specialized team of three to deliver high-availability services across cloud, on-premises, and mobile environments.

• Lead IT transformation initiatives and system upgrades.
• Manage the ICT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in licensing, hardware procurement, and telco contracts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers. Supervise IT support function and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Supervise and mentor ICT technical specialists, ensuring clear KPIs and professional development.
• Develop and implement the organization’s cybersecurity strategy. Work with Security Specialists to maintain a robust cybersecurity posture (ISO 27001 standards or similar).
• Establish and enforce information security policies and standards.
• Maintain data privacy and protection standards.
• Report cybersecurity risks and mitigation plan to senior management.
• Provide regular reports for management on IT performance and security posture.
• Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection measures.
• Manage ERP, HR systems, Microsoft 365, and other business platforms in terms of licenses, access, and support.
• Oversee the System & Cloud Admin to ensure hybrid infrastructure is optimized and backed up

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS, VoIP, and SD-WAN.
• Cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
• ERP and enterprise systems management.
• IT infrastructure and network architecture.
• Leadership and communication skills
• Strong reporting and documentation capability
• PMP/Prince2, ITIL Foundation, or CISSP (preferred)
• Must be Oman resident

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Experience: From 8 to 10 years in the same field.
